Questions?
Do I need an app?
Yes, the free THG Start app from the App Store or Google Play. Plug in the camera and the app finds it by itself.
Does it need charging?
No. It has no battery and is powered by your phone while you use it.
Can I find draughts and poor insulation?
Yes. Cold areas around windows, doors and in walls show up clearly. You get the best result when it is cold outside and warm inside.
Can it see through walls?
No. It shows the surface temperature. A cold or damp area on a wall can still reveal draughts or missing insulation behind it.
Can it replace a professional thermographer?
It shows you where to look more closely. If you need a report for insurance or selling a home, use a certified thermographer.
What can I do in the app?
Measure a point, a line or an area, track the hottest and coldest spot, set high or low temperature alarms, take photos and video and create a PDF report.
What if I am not happy?
You have 30 days to return it from the day you receive the parcel.
